This light is wonderful and the perfect accent for the space. I will say it was a bit confusing on how some of the parts went together, but we got there.

The light came with two sets of installation instructions that did not align with one another at all. If you buy one of these know that you’re going to be 80 on your own, figuring out how to wire and assemble the non matching parts. It is also important to note that this light will not fit a standard J box, it has its own apparatus that must be screwed into a ceiling joist. The remote control receiver is bulky and doesn’t really fit in the canopy. It might be a good idea to place the receiver in the ceiling somewhere to facilitate installation of the canopy. This light is not dimmable, and there are no provisions to make it compatible with Wi-Fi. Your only choice for operation is a cheap remote control that has a flimsy wall mount. Having it to do again, I would research more carefully and probably buy a different brand. Update: the manufacturer leaves out parts that are clearly shown on the instruction sheet and parts list. When that part is requested from Wayfair, the manufacturer then responds back to Wayfair that the part is not needed and to go ahead and assemble the fan. This leave screws exposed that don’t look like they should be there. They aren’t even the same color as the fan. After having put the fan up, I’m not gonna take it back down, but I will learn never to buy from this manufacturer again.

Perfect size fan blades for my bedroom. The light has nice yellow hue and bright white for better sight.

The light fan has retractable fans. It’s pretty neat when they tuck up inside when turned off. There are 3 light settings and fan speed settings. The stained glass shade is made well. Overall, we are pleased!
