This lampshade was exactly as described; Silk, white and plain. But that it is exactly what I wanted. I wanted my beautiful antique lamp to "show off", not the shade, so I am very pleased with my purchase. It is well constructed, and the fabric is perfect, not too heavy, has some silk "slubbing", but not too much, very subtle. It was also shipped in very sturdy packaging, a plus when shipping something as delicate as a silk lampshade. I would buy this product from this company again.
