I actually purchased these lamps just for the base! My bedroom is burgundy and gold and I wanted the scroll look! I purchased a pair of burgundy and gold lamp shades with scrolls on them and they turned out beautiful! I still have the original shades that came with the lamps, but the ones that I used were even more beautiful! Great pair of lamps!
