Very disappointed in this lamp. It was exactly the design that I was looking for but alas, it very quickly stopped working consistently. First, it would not turn off by the switch and I had to uplug it from the power source. I adjusted. Next, it took more than one attempt to turn it on. I adjusted. Then when I turned it on, it would fade off and on. I realized it might become an electrical hazard. Now it is a large paper weight.

This lamp is nice and bright. Compact as well.

Great light and flexibility with adjusting intensity and angle. The narrow base slides smoothly under other furniture. It would be ideal if the cord was a bit longer and the base was heavier for greater stability.

Love it. Perfect for a reading lamp!
