It was almost impossible to attach the parts that are supposed to attach to the base. The cord was way too long, so to get the two pieces together i had to twist and bend the excess down into the bottom part so i could attach the top part of the pole. It barely fit. I then tightened the screw that is meant to stabilize the pieces. It was completely insufficient. Then, as i reached for the base i realized that the two screws that attach it to the pole were not included in the box. I tried to find screws that fit but was unsuccessful. In trying to find some other way to attach the pieces, i realized the base is too small to stabilize the light. So even if i found a way to attach the pieces it was so flimsy i would never put it over my piano. I followed the instructions to obtain a refund. I could not make it clear during my chat with the virtual agent that i should not have to find a box, pack up the pieces and take it to UPS or FedEx to return it. It was such a piece of junk i should not be inconvenienced. I asked to speak to a human. I received a text from a person. I responded, texting that i believed i was entitled to a refund. But i never received a text back. Do not buy this lamp. If you insist on doing so, buy it from the manufacturer. Though you will pay more for it, if there is a problem, their customer service should be better than Wayfair's.
