Everyone has said its plastic as a bad thing but I actually think that's cool! Makes it easier to install and kind of easier to clean. And I installed it on a stairway so if someone knocks into it it won't break.

Looks great. The plastic white cover so does not look like plastic. Gives a beautiful warm light. Looks classy and fits in well with our mid-century modern look.
