The deign is simple and sophisticated, which makes up for the fact that I can only use 40W bulbs, and there is no dimming function even though the description says that there is. I do like the tap-switch.

I ordered this lamp as an open box item and was not disappointed. It was packaged well arrived in a timely manner and did not have any marks or dings on it. This lamp is metal has good weight to it with no risk of knocking it from the nightstand. It is also tall enough to cast a good reading light. The goldbrass color of the lamp is beautiful and is not painted on. The added perk is that it turns on and off with just a light touch anywhere on the lamp. The touch feature, however, may not be great for a child’s room.

It’s a really nice lamp, very solid, great looks. But be aware—it’s not dimmable. You touch the base to turn off and on. While that disappointed us, it’s so good looking we decided to keep the two we got.
