Perfect! I needed something taller, without a lot of bulk. The wood pieces in this lamp matches with the table set. It also provides adequate lighting when we play cards!

Beautiful dimming torch. The natural wood grain and brass is very sturdy, and adds a great atmosphere in the corner of my dining room. I’m very eclectic and this fits in perfectly.

Unfortunately, quality is a step below... As you assemble the lamp, you have to be very careful with the threads of the various pieces - they are much too easy to misthread. When fully assembled, the wooden piece at the top is not fully aligned with the metal - no way to really get it there either. So either accept the flaw or send it back... Otherwise, a great light - bright and appealing.
