I really wanted to like this lamp. It is a good price for an attractive and well made lamp except for one irreconcilable problem. Cheap black e12 chandelier bases are stacked on top of the original brass fittings, raising the bulbs about 1 12 inches in the enclosure. As my bulbs are typically long chandelier bulbs, the light comes from the uppermost portion of the lamp, practically from under the cap. I would not buy this product again.

I bought 2 in Vintage Pewter, and they look good, BUT they were slightly different in size & color. Same SKU # on the boxes, but the base was about a 1/2" off in height so one is shorter than the other, and one had a rubbed finish (like the picture) and the other was the same color but a matte version. So annoying. Better look closely before you install a pair.

This fixture is reasonable for price and quality. My 3-star review is mostly in criticism to the inaccurate information listed. The specifications call for a 2" post. I even submitted a question to confirm that this was accurate, with which they responded that a 3" post would not work. However, once I received the fixture and measured, the opening for post is about 3-1/8". It's kind of an important factor to have right when coordinating the installation.
