This is not a good piano light for my upright piano. The style and workmanship of the light is lovely. Unfortunately, it does not provide correct lighting on the music, since it shines straight down without the right angle to give full coverage to sheet music. If the extension parallel to the keyboard were longer, it would work better.

Works beautifully on our black piano. A true accent to it’s top!

The lamp is very good quality and looks very nice. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for the place I wanted which was over a bookshelf. It cast too many shadows and only lit up the top shelf really well. It should be very good for a piano. I like that the switch is easy to reach. At approximately $530 CAD it seems a little pricey. I didn’t get the lamp so the rep ordered a replacement and then about two weeks after it had come the second showed up. The reps were very good. Here is hoping the return process goes well.
