THIS close (displays fingers almost touching) to a magical experience with Wayfair on this purchase! Argh. I bought this as open box for my elderly parents’ kitchen. They were thrilled to await its arrival, and I went over 2 days later, excited to provide them with enhanced lighting to complete the (new to them) cabinets and countertops I’d installed. I was pleased with the packaging efforts by Wayfair (open box meant no original box looked like). Again, just a really great experience IF ONLY! I’m not an authority on bulbs, but I know now that halogen are outrageously outdated and not at all appropriate for 2023. I need you to know I could not keep my hand on the fixture glass as I attempted to direct each in accordance with Mom’s preference. A quick online search confirms halogen bulbs generate immense heat (wasted energy) and are, as a result, incredibly expensive to operate. Now I get to relinquish the savings realized by choosing this fixture on Wayfair, open box, spend those savings on replacement LED bulbs. Mom and Dad aren't even using this product until I can get back over there after new bulbs are shipped. I expect more from Wayfair; this isn’t merely a matter of bulb preference. The provided bulbs are not usable.

Very pretty, but assembly and install was tricky. The directions could be much more clear, and I couldn’t find anything better from the manufacturer online.
