Didn't love the light bulb exposed at the bottom, it is a strange design. Didn't notice it much in the pictures, until we recieved it.

We are very pleased with our Shaded Drum light in our dining room. We have it on a dimmer which adds lots of lighting flexibility. You can also have just the center full sized bulb lit, or just the 6 candelabra lights, or all of them on, your choice.
