Great buy! Provides a lot of light, looks amazing! We just renovated and expanded our kitchen, we put this light in the cafe/nook area.

Ordered this originally thinking would be useful in laundry room with high ceilings. After installing - realized how attractive of a fixture this truly was! Have been told by more than one person that it is too pretty to have in laundry room - but being a mom to a household of 6 & spending hours daily doing laundry I can honestly say as silly as it sounds it makes me happy every time I turn it on! Lamp includes various sized down rods to select perfect height for fixture (used shortest rod on mine right around 4") & with 2 100 watt bulbs casts a great amount of light. Bottom of shade has milky white plastic liner while top of shade is open allowing bright light to reflect off ceiling while gentler light emits from base. There is a small gap around base liner not a defect just allowing some bright light to escape - very pleasant effect. Would definitely purchase again & would highly recommend.
