The back that hold the shelf up is not one big long piece. It is a lot of little pieces and the top one won’t tighten so it just flops. The assembly was complicated so I hired someone who builds things for a living and they said it is designed poorly. The lamp shade is also cheap and poorly made. This is the most disappointing item I have every purchased from Wayfair.shade

This bookshelf is darling, and a nice change up from the traditional tower shelving you’d usually see with a lamp on top. Super easy to put together and comes with a foot pedal and remote, zero consonants.

It was such an easy set up. Instructions were clear, and it adds a perfect lighting and bookcase to my living room for some light reading.

The light is not as bright as I would like it but the look and the organization that this provides is a 1010 for me.
