The lamp works fine and performs as expected. However, the hinge area of the lamp has a waxy plug that looks cheap and honestly dirty. I cannot figure out any functional reason for this waxy plug and due to it significantly impacting the aesthetics, I removed two points.

Love this floor lamp! It was super easy to assemble and the syncup with the remote was instant. The remote needs batteries but it's really handy, as it can adjust the warmth of the light plus the brightness, which makes it a great room addition depending on the vibe we go for.

2 words, REMOTE CONTROL! The lamp has a very simple design, narrow profile and the top of the lamp is adjustable. I put the lamp in my daughter's room and she absolutely loves it. The remote control also can change the brightness/ambiance as well as a 1-hour off timer

It works as intended, but I have beef with this lamp. First of all, I could not complete assembly because the internal threads on the rods were covered in white paint. I had to use a wire brush and scrape the paint off of the internal threads on the rods in order to twist them together. Without doing this, there is no way I would have been able to complete assembly. The rods absolutely would not twist together. It was a big pain, and quite time consuming. Secondly, theres a huge black sticker on the side of the lamp. Its towards the top, so its visible depending on where you are in the room when you face the lamp. I wanted to remove the sticker, and discovered that it was covering a hole that had been packed with what I can only surmise is hot glue. The sticker is hideous and stands out because its black, and the lamp is white. I dont think they thought that one through. It came with a remote, but batteries were not included. The product does seem stable and is bright enough with a decent quality once assembled. However, the manufacturing process of this piece clearly needs improvement.

This lamp is an absolutely amazing solution for a home that has no ceiling lighting and gets very little natural light. The ability to pivot the light in so many versatile angles enables you to illuminate areas that otherwise would require multiple different lamps. The different lighting temperatures and brightness levels provide wonderful options. Having the included remote is also very handy, as it allows you to have the lamp in any area and still be accessed with ease. This is by far the best floor lamp I have encountered.
