It’s a clear light. Minimal design. The gold finish is a true light brushed gold metal. Focused light or wide be light. Good for reading.

Love my new floor reading lamp - super easy to put together it looks great. Very solid lamp - heavy base so it won’t tip over. I plan to use it for both reading working on detailed my projects in my office did not have the best lighting but now I do.

Works well; easy to position into any area you need. Adjusting from wide beam to focused is a great feature. This lamp works great as a task lamp (especially as a reading lamp by a chair or bed. As ambient lighting, the light is cold. Best as task lighting.

Don’t like the color of the light. Adjustment for light diameters is difficult. One has to twist a lot. Not crazy about the style either. Sadly I didn’t get to see it until post return date.
