The lamp is attractive and was easy to put together. It was very well packaged so there weren’t any scratches or dents when it arrived. The lamp isn’t exactly flimsy, it’s very well made, but it’s delicate. The base isn’t heavy enough and it’s easy to knock over. The tubes are very thin and they have some difficulty supporting the shade. No matter how much I tighten them the lamp still leans.

I needed a reading lamp next to my sectional since part of it was a distance from any table lamps and this works perfectly. It's slim and sleek and the light itself doesn't take up a lot of space so it's not obtrusive at all. I will agree with another reviewer that it would have been nice to be able to adjust the light but at least I can swing it closer to me or away depending on how much light I need. The foot switch is convenient at the bottom of the lamp and there's plenty of cord to be able to plug the lamp in and have the switch close by.
