Just bought a new desk it fits perfectly on the top shelf. Really cute.

I ordered this for my daughter because she had trouble turning her existing lamp on with the twisting knob mechanism. This one has a simple rocker switch on the cord which is so much easier for her. I didn’t pay attention to the dimensions so it was smaller than Iexpected but it’s great for her.

I ordered the small lamp which arrived in well packed box in about a week. The directions were easy to read and no tools were needed to put together. A light bulb was included. The lamp base is with gold metal cage. There is cream linen lampshade with a long power cord with an onoff switch. Im using the light in a hallway at night and it works well. It can be used in any room if you need a small lamp.

This lamp is smaller than I expected which isn’t a problem for me, however, putting the lamp together was simple but doesn’t seem to fit. I did exactly what the instructions said but the light bulb that came with the lamp sticks out of the top of the shade, so I had to improvise by putting the shade on top of the light bulb. However, the lighting has a nice ambiance for the bedroom, not too bright but enough light to read a book before bed. I have included a photo of the instructions, the result after following the instructions and my improvised result. It has been about a week after my original review and decided to try and put the lamp together again and discovered I was putting the shade on upside down. After correcting this embarrassing mistake, I am happy with the lamp and think it is a good investment. The last two photos are the corrected results.

Adorable. My bedroom is decorated in a bit of a garden theme, with lots of "bird" artworks and this little lamp reminds me a bit of a bird cage so it fits perfectly. Also we have gambrel style walls and it was challenge finding something small enough to fit here but not look like it belonged in a nursery. It's lovely, I'd buy it again.
