I didn’t even know these flat ceiling medallions existed! I replaced a big boxy fixture in my dining room with a hanging light and the space under the old light is at least one ceiling paint job ago. Knowing that I could never match it and didn’t want to paint the whole ceiling, I chose this because I could rather affordably get a sizeable one that, in its flatness, isn’t overwhelming the room.
