Review edit. Upon close inspection one area was damaged (bent wrinked). No amount of putty or sanding or repainting helped. I did not notice this area until I started painting it. Super difficult to paint as there are hundreds of tiny crevices, which show upon painting. I do not believe this item is wood. It seems to be a super compressed paper(). Paint does not apply evenly. Not worthy of Wayfair standards (Original post follows) The perfect piece for under my large living room fixture to help balance the ceiling. Wish there were pre painted options.
