I personally don’t recommend that you purchase this medallion because it’s very thin a cheaply made doesn’t sit flush to ceiling when installed if it was a thicker material than maybe it would look much better.if you want quality then please look elsewhere

This is really nice. It is plastic but you can not tell when it’s hung up. It has a bit of glitter to it which I love. It looks elegant and is perfect for the look I was going for.

Having previously purchased a similar product that was far more substantial, and at a similar price point, I assumed this would be the same type product. It is not. It is thin, molded plastic, looks very cheap, and not at all what I expected based on my previous purchase. My fault, I should have paid more attention to the description and read previous reviews for this particular item. I do not recommend, unless thin, molded plastic is what you're looking for. If it is, carry on with your bad self. Stay away if you're looking for an unfinished product of substance that you can paint to match your decor.

Note this product is a thin plastic and in my opinion looks cheap - I will not be installing this. The same supplier has several foam options which felt and looked more substantial to me which I’d recommend.
