I think this light is elegant and subtle - exactly what I wanted for over my dining room table. The majority of my fixtures are nickle and I was worried that they would clash, but the color of the metal is muted so I think it will work well. The chain in the picture looks colored, but its not. It must just be reflecting the colors from the shade.

Disappointed overall. The metal looks more silver than brass and the colored glass washes out when the light is on. Would return if I hadn’t paid to install it. Will never again install a lamp before seeing it with lightbulbs.
