Too thin for little girls room

Watch out opening these boxes. The styrofoam is so cheap that it disintegrated into a thousand tiny balls while getting the lamps out of the boxes. I ordered two and the same thing happen both times. Also the tiny styrofoam balls clung to the lining on the bottom of both lamps. It was hard to scrape off and I ended up having to use a black marker to cover the edges. One arrived with dent at the back. I would have asked for a replacement, but I didn't want to deal with packing it up for a return. Also, it does not appear that the lamps are adjustable. If they are, they're too tight to move on both lamps. I like the look but the engineering needs to be improved.

Love this lamp. It’s such a cool addition to my guest bedroom/home office, which I’ve decorated using white and gold furniture. A very cool design.
