The metal base came full of scratches

Nice aesthetics but the gold finish was damaged in a few places, the globe does not hang symmetrically no matter what I try, the glass globe has visible imperfections/bubbles in the glass, and the vertical poles are a little wonky. Importantly, the on/off switch is located inconveniently in the cord.
