This lamp is high end and gorgeous. I wasn’t able to add lightbulbs to it yet but it takes a standard size. Very easy to assemble and well crafted. Base is very heavy and true shiny gold color. Lamp and lampshade are made of metal.

It's a pretty cool looking lamp. It is well made, attractive and very unique. As it turned out, it is a bit too tall for the space I needed it, but I'm trying to figure out where I can put it. I think it would fit best in a study. I don't think it would go with any and every decor, nor in any and every room. I think it needs its own unique and perfect spot. It did arrive with a smal dent in the shade, (why I gave it 4 stars)but I was able to turn it around so that it does not show.
