I love the overall design of this lamp. Very stylish! Well built and easy to assemble. The only surprise was that you do have to build the lamp shade. I had trouble getting the folds out of the shade. This is the only reason for 4 stars…overall I adore this floor lamp. It feels very artsy.

If the Shade werent so pathetic in terms of assembly. Then the lamp would not be that bad to be honest. Since thr shade is unfolded It will with plastic be lumpy or dimpled. When I received it, I thought for sure. It was my ordered bed coverlet! Not the floor lamp. Again because of shade. It did arrive amazingly quickly! I ordered 3 days ago, received in 2 days! Wow!! The shade lamp itself isnt Wayfairs fault perse. Though as they test, then approve products they sell. Well it leaves a lot to be desired. My boyfriend said jokingly Well maybe you could tell ppl. That its an abstract art piece, that happens to couple as a light fixture. Lol oy. Ifbthe Lamp shade drum could be replaced, with a real drum Then even that would be fine. But bc of how it screws in on top. Versus a lamp harp, its a no go. If only is the key thing here. But for now Im keeping my old floor lamp donating this to ARC. Bc I just cant tell ppl its abstract art lol bc yea lmao OY! VEY!!

They forgot to add the first step which is before you even unpack it throw the things straight into the dumpster. The fabric shade is actually plastic and they folded it up inside the tiny box that came in. There is no way to make the shade look nice its dented everywhere. My Hope was that maybe after keeping the light on for a while the heat from the bulb would relax the plastic but then I noticed that you can see the bulb straight through it so you need to find a real attractive bulb. It was easy to put together but I should have looked at the shade first cuz then I wouldnt have even bothered.
