The perfect matte gold finish, not brassy at all. We placed 60-watt soft white LED bulbs in the fixture and thought the light might hurt the eyes. As a back up, we decided to install a dimmer switch for guests. Overall, it's a winner.

I did get a friend to install it for me but he said it was pretty easy and straightforward. It's sturdy and well made. Great quality. It gives so much light . The round bulb cover part is big and beautiful. It's really easy to clean them also. I just love the way it looks. I think it makes the light flow in a much wider area of coverage. I would recommend this for all bathrooms. The value is great. You will love it as much as I do.
