Beautiful mid-century modern lamp! Very happy with it. The base is heavy and the light is perfect brightness. Great accent lamp. The gold color is slightly more mustard or a matte gold. But overall it goes perfectly with a Gold, Black, Oak/Brown, White color scheme.

Light came as shown in picture. Agree with previous reviewers about sturdy base and that it’s best displayed with a visual of the whole lamp. Tempted to get another bc I think they’d look great as a pair. Update 2025: Unfortunately after a year of use, the electric connection seemed loose and light would flicker. Down from 5 stars to 2 because it is not useable.

this base is SO heavy!! that's a good thing bc it holds the floor lamp in place. looks elegant and modern
