So… I got the more expensive “gold leg” and wood version and I’d say don’t do it. As you can see in photo the gold foot arent metal pieces they are just painted on and the lines aren’t even straight… looks spray-painted, not worth an extra 30 dollars for that- just get plain wood version… the lamp itself I’m happy with it’s pretty sturdy and looks good in our mid century modern style room. The cord would be great if it didn’t show as many people noted in reviews but it is brown and can wrap around keg so it’s not that noticeable.

I absolutely love my tripod floor lamp. I was looking for something a little different and this fit the bill! Assembly was super easy too!
