Love these lights. We are replacing 20 year old outdated brushed nickel lights in our stairwell. The shade is white without lights on. It will change color based on the temperature of bulbs used. The black color is solid and made of aluminum so not cheap plastic. They look high end and made well. I like how they hug the wall and don’t stick out too far. Really helps to update to a more transitional style.
