I purchased this fan based on the product photos, which all show the blades extended. After installation, I thought the fan was defective because the blades wouldn’t extend until the fan was turned on. Only after going back to the listing did I notice one sentence mentioning “invisible blades.” This feature is not clearly represented in the product photos, which only show the fan with the blades extended. Since the blades retract whenever the fan is off, I feel the listing is misleading because that’s not how the fan looks most of the time. Even when the fan is on, the blades are spinning, so it never actually has the appearance shown in the advertised photos.
