I absolutely love this little lamp - when I purchased I had no idea the payoff... I don't think I've charged it more than once - and that was a month ago! it holds a charge and it presents a glow in the dark that I find really useful (for the tv remote, it is one of many bonuses) - anyway I just love it and I'm so glad I purchased it. Yes, it's expensive for what it appears to be, but the payoff has been extraordinary. Even though it's a rechargeable lantern, I am keeping my wick trimmed
