I just surprised my husband by re-doing his home office - adding a wall of cabinets, fresh paint, and this light fixture. This is terrace level bedroom and the ceilings are 9ft - so I couldn’t get something huge or that would hang down too low . The way the “arms” of the chandelier angle back up allows you to be able to hang it a little lower . Several different length bars for hanging came with it though if you want it lower over a table. For me this worked great over his desk and matched the gold hardware I got for the cabinets great . Love it
