I had no idea what to expect from these little battery operated lamps, but I was pleasantly surprised with how they look and operate. I have the two lamps on my dresser and at bedtime I light them in a nice color with them dimmed. It sets a nice mood and relaxes me. The remote is small and I simply shut them off before I go to sleep. They put out a very soft, pleasant light.
