HERE IT IS !!!
Finally found a lamp that has the approval of my great-grandson. He frequently visits GramGram (me) for a sleep-over and a night-light is a priority no matter how many times I remind him there are no monsters under the bed. Well, here it is !!!
I’d tried all types, the plug in lights, which weren’t bright enough for him, others were far to bright for me to grab a good night’s rest. As you’ll see in the photos, he’s a baseball fan and the Dodgers are his favorite team. Of course, I had to tell him the LA Dodgers weren’t the first, since having spent my childhood growing up in Brooklyn and frequented Ebbets Field with my Dad. ...the “good ol’ days’ for sure! When he first saw it, he was thrilled to no end!! So, if you’re looking for an adorable sports night-light (or desk light) this is probably what you’re needing.
The glove and baseball are 3 dimensional, the lampshade arrives plain with a dark trim but I customized it for my little buddy with a cloth Dodger decal I found on line and used fabric glue to easily secure it to the shade. The glove color is dark brown with accents, the lampshade is a light cream.
Anyway, for us, this high quality, adorable and realistic lamp is a God send. He loves it and I’m just as pleased since the wattage capacity is 40 watt, however, I use a 25 watt bulb since it provides a restful nights sleep for each of us.
