I wasn't sure this would work in our kitchen. I was concerned it might be too low. After installing it I still felt it was too low. I took it down and cut 2" off the steel rod and re- drilled the hole for the retaining pin. It is now perfect! Well made and works great

The appearance of this fandelier is outstanding. The reasons I rated this mediocre is two fold. First, the size of the control receiver is so large that it was difficult to force it into the fan box and done. Second, the range of speed and light control is limited. I would like to operate the fan at lower speed and dim the lights more.
