So I am guilty of not reading the description close enough! I didn't realize the petals were acrylic, for some reason I though they were glass, that's one me. This was a real challenge to put together, a lot of parts and very little instruction. It would be helpful if you've put together lighting fixtures before so you can tell if you have everything you need to assemble. It is lovely, but not exactly what I was looking for. It looks great from below, which is the view most people will have. All in all a decent and unique light fixture at a good price.
