Luminaire suspendu géométrique 6 lumières Damieon

We like the looks of this Chandelier when finished assembly. Unfortunately this item is very poorly designed for assembly. I am a mechanical engineer and it took me over 5 hours to assemble. The upright sections are fastened to the base with screws but nothing locks them in place, it only takes a slight side force to cause then to swing sideways. The absolutely most frustrating part was the use of the 3/8" diameter rings, designed like tiny key rings used to fasten the crystals to the framework. Impossible! I went to the hobby store to pick up some hooks that could be bent to fasten and orient the crystals properly. Now that I has it up, it looks good but I will hate the first time I have to clean it because the uprights will loosen and I will need to get out the tall ladder to retighten them.
