Luminaire suspendu à DEL Dilnoza

This pendant light is suspended from the ceiling via three separate cables two of which also serve as wiring for the fixture. The third cable must be connected to the black ceiling box by the purchaser. The two cables containing the wiring are connected to the LED driver concealed in the round black ceiling box (which is typical) by the manufacturer, each one consisting of a support cable and three wires. They are connected together, crimped and shrink wrapped to ensure a proper connection. In my case, the third cable had to run between the factory installed cables to reach it's designated hole in the black ceiling box which is totally incorrect and would looked ridiculous. That's simply not the right way to hang this type of light. Each cable should run from the ceiling box directly to the fixture without crossing in-between the others. Rather than repacking it and going through the entire process of returning it, I chose to completely disassemble all the factory wiring and correct the issue by myself. Once all the wiring was redone I was able to connect all the cables to the correct holes in the black ceiling box so the fixture would hang properly. I must assume that there is no quality control or very little at the manufacturing level. The light itself isn't all that great but will probably look OK once I get it installed. The only good thing about this purchase is that the price was marked down by 60%. I was able to purchase it for $379.99 plus tax and shipping of course. It normally sells for $949.00!!! Add tax and shipping to that and you're over $1000.00!! This particular light fixture isn't worth anywhere close to that especially when the manufacturing defects are taken into consideration. Very disappointed. I can't recommend anyone purchasing this item at its retail price. I know that light fixtures can be extremely expensive but for what you're getting here, even the sale price is a stretch in my opinion. Quality just isn't there.

Its clean, sleek and very easy to install. The fact that it can be adjusted to any height can make it look good with any ceiling height if this is your taste.
