While this is an attractive light fixture the installation was horrific and certain aspects of the quality really bring down the rating in my opinion.
First, it is absurdly heavy requiring four additional holes be drilled in your ceiling to help anchor it. The process for that is straightforward despite the awful instructions. Once you get the mounting bracket in place you’re supposed to be able to ‘clip’ the wires from your supply into the supplied wiring harness however mine came undone as soon as I clipped my wires in. The wires from the light came out even though there had been zero tension on them. Then, it was impossible to get them back in so I had to clip off the wiring harness altogether and then I had no ground wire coming from the light as it had been attached to the wiring harness only, not the fixture itself. So then I installed it again only to discover that the plastic wrap that covers the crystals is wrapped entirely around them and then that section is attached to the top piece so you cannot simply pull the plastic wrap off, you have to disassemble the two pieces to remove the wrap. Of course this required that I remove the fixture again. Once I got the wrap off and the fixture installed for the third time I had to attach the crystal’s and the strands. This was no small feat. The crystal strands are attached to the fixture with the most flimsy clips you can imagine, and you have to squeeze them together to get them to fit into an impossibly small whole.
