This is not a solar powered light. It does require connection to electricity. It is a very attractive fixture and puts out a lot of light. It is very well put together and I expect it will last a long time.

I really like this. I will be using this on my deck near my new barrel sauna. It is very sturdy and well made. The bulb is accessed thru the top using a screw driver. It should hold up well in the wind and weather. I will buy one more.
