Not at all what the pictures make it seem. The end caps are molded plastic rings with some decent waviness in them and inside there are exposed LEDs, capacitors etc. Definitely don't want to mount anywhere you'd be able to see in the bottom or top of this fixture. Maybe appropriate given price point? Otherwise well built powder coated metal. Photos on site surely are misleading, attaching photos of actual product...
