The lamp metal surface is very nice with good height. The weight of the lamps is too light and will need some added weight to make sure the cat does no knock it over.

I just love these amazing lamps. Perfect for my family room. Elegant and I just love that they have double light bulbs. You can use one for less light or both for more brightness. It was perfect that there were two lamps. One for my end table and the other for the buffet.
