Gorgeous lamp, but the switch is ridiculous. You can’t just keep the lamp on like with a smart plug, as it resets every time you turn off power.

The lamp looked great, but it didn't play nice with smart plugs. The default state of the lamp is off, so it's not possible to turn it on via a smart plug. It will remain off until its foot-step switch is used, and it doesn't remember its previous setting. The lamp that I received also came with lots of scratches around the screw holes that suggests that it was a used product. I ended up returning it, but I am disappointed that I had to pay for return shipping.
