I really like the look but the gold part has a lot of imperfections

This lamp is great! It has a slight angle to the shade which doesnt allow it to face straight down, its always at a bit of a tilt, but for my space this still works well.

This lamp was the final touch to an office makeover. The quasi-industrial/modern look was the perfect addition for my new desk. It is also sturdy with a shade which can be moved to to direct the light to or from the work area. Very pleased with this item.
