It comes with the basic Kohler pendant instructions, not specific to this fixture, so the parts aren’t the same. The shade took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to put on but then once it was on I realized how incredibly simple it was and felt dumb. In the photo where my thumb is, that part screws down to allow the clip on and then you screw it up again to tighten it against the clip. I scratched the bar pretty good by sliding the glass shade up and down trying to figure it out- I really needed simple instructions. Other than finding install of the glass to be annoying, install of the fixture itself was straightforward and quite easy. The pendant is gorgeous. It’s thick glass. I’m using it for a dining room fixture on a house we’re flipping, but it would also be great over an island. This house has vaulted ceilings so it was perfect because it was adjustable to accommodate angled ceilings. It looks so nice- I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this in our large pantry and the brushed brass finish and it completely changed the feel of the room. What used to be a purely functional space now actually looks designed. Insulation was almost comically easy. I had it mounted and wired in under five minutes and I am not an electrician. The hardware was all in the box and everything was straightforward. One nice surprise is that it ships with extra rods so that you can link in the drop for a higher ceiling. I did not need them for my install, but I appreciate that Kohler included that option instead of making you hunt down a separate extension kit. The brushed brass reads warm and classy rather than flashy and the simple bottle shape is the kind of thing that will still look good in 10 years. It plays well with just about any other finish in the room. I highly recommend, especially if you have a pantry laundry room or mudroom that has been ignored. Easiest upgrade I have done in a while.
