This outdoor light is amazing! The LED is in the bottom of the fixture and projects up to the dome; which gives off a nice glow. Installation was fine, though the screws to at the base stuck out since they were a bit long. We put some rubber washers on there to snug up the fit on our brick exterior. This light doesn't stick out from the wall too much--it was difficult to find one that you wouldn't hit your head on. For the price, we are very satisfied.
