This Antique Brass Table Lamp with Black Shade (Set Of 2) are absolutely beautiful. There is really no assembly other than unscrewing the ring on the top of the base, setting on the shade and then screwing it back on. Next, put in the E26/medium base 40-watt bulb. I love that this is a set of 2 lamps. The gold antique brass metal base is so nice and sturdy. It feels heavy and expensive. The bottom of each lamp has a thin foam base, so it won’t scratch your furniture. The lamp itself has a switch on the cord to turn it on with. I like that type because I use a plug in that is connected to a clicker. So, all I have to do is touch the clicker next to my chair to turn them both on at the same time. That way, I don’t have to reach up under a lamp or use a switch to turn them on. This lamp is very classy looking. The black linen lampshade with the band of gold on the top and bottom look so pretty. And the lampshade has a shiny gold foil look on the inside. I really love the look of them. The overall height is 26.7”. The taller the lamp, the wider you want the table you have it sitting on should be. This lamp would be too big for a small side table or nightstand. It looks perfect in my living room. It would look nice in a bedroom, office, or family room too. This is a gorgeous lamp, and I highly recommend this set.
