Updated mid century! This light fixture takes the current mid century modern trend to a new level by introducing a sleek industrial aesthetic. Simple yet structural. The high quality gold finish on the interior is an unexpected surprise. This fixture arrived in sturdy packaging and was easy to install. Note: the sideboard in the photos is another Wayfair find!

I could not love this light fixture more. This is going in my bathroom remodel. In the water closet, no less. Talk about a throne! The inside is a guilded gold, shimmering fabulous, reflective radiance. The outside is sleek, coal black matte enameled shade. The contrast between the top and bottom of this gorgeous light fixture is truly unique. The actual electrical “guts” are sturdy and well made. This lamp is intended to be used as a pendant, but I am using a shortened version and will suspend it only a foot from the ceiling. The black and bright gold will work with my color choices perfectly. I’ll use a large globe lightbulb with a funky filament which will cause light to dance across the gold. I can’t wait to get it installed.

Nice heavy fixture. Made well, finish looks smooth, and it will be easy to care for. The angle of the fixture isn't deep enough to hide the bulb, so make sure you have an attractive bulb. Installation was straightforward with wires color-coded properly. This fixture is substantial and would require a larger space to be in.
