There is plenty of cord , with an on and off switch . I used if for a grow light for my indoor plant . It works perfectly! I love this lamp .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lamp shade is actually nice looking. I’m not really sure how to hang it up. It didn’t come with something to hang it on. The cable is black to plug it in and it shows. I wish it was white so it’s not as obvious.
